Melbourne Regional Medical Center is continuously working to improve patient safety and quality of care. We support transparency of hospital data in a way that is useful and valid for the public. There are several websites available to the public which provide performance information, including the following:

Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) data on hospital pricing and performance is available on its internet website at www.FloridaHealthFinder.gov. Pricing and performance data provided by AHCA is a compilation of charges for the average patient. A patient’s bill may vary from the average shown, depending upon the severity of illness and individual care needs. The data on the AHCA website has been compiled from coding or billing data, which has limitations when trying to present quality information. Melbourne Regional Medical Center encourages patients to talk to their physicians about their health care decisions.
